My Honest Scrap Award

I've been a little behind lately on my blog. My human has been busy and I've been using her free-time to play and tweet with my furriends on Twitter.  I received such a nice award from my pal, MattieDog, a few weeks ago.  It's called the Honest Scrap award.  Whomever receives the Honest Scrap award must reveal 10 things about themselves and then pass the award on to 10 other friends.  I have to be honest, so here goes...

1. I like to act like a big tough doggy, but I'm really a scaredy-dog.  I hate loud noises, thunderstorms, and even the kitchen floor.  Sometimes I cry and wait for mom to walk me into the kitchen.  We just got the floor this past summer.  It is porcelain and very slippery.  During thunderstorms, I shake, pant, hide under the table or behind the toilet.
2. My mom is my best friend.
3. I've never left my home state of Michigan. I hate traveling in the car.
4. I'm afraid of hair brushes. I hide under the kitchen table as soon as I see it come out of the cupboard.
5. I love the sound of the microwave. It usually means popcorn or bacon.
6. I sleep in my mom's bed every night. I have chewed through about 6 dog beds. They don't usually last more than a few months with me.
7. I sometimes get in weird moods, where I run from window to window to window to look outside. I make the "rounds".  There are Hank nose prints on all of the windows.  No matter how hard my mom tries to keep them clean, they reappear every day.
8. Sometimes my mom calls me "Shadow", because I never leave her side.  I follow her upstairs, downstairs, even into the bathroom.  I like to always be by her side.
9. I have lots of nicknames - Hankey, Mr. Hankey, Hankypants (thanks Oatie), Hankenstein, Hankster, Hanky Panky.  Sometimes I forget that my name is Hank.  I come when people call Hankey.
10. I really love my anipals.  I never had so many friends in my entire dog life.  Twitter has made me become a more social doggy and I love it.  Everyone is so nice to me.  It has been a year of firsts for me - first Christmas card, first Valentine, first pawty, my first real birthday pawty and more.

Thank you to my friend, MattieDog, whom I like to call Walter.  He is one of my bestest friends and always makes me laugh.  His hilarious antics always keep a smile on my face.  I wish him the best.
